Our Services

All Services

  • IMMUNIZATION AND WELLNESS CARE

We strive to prevent illness whenever possible. The time and effort invested in Wellness programs has rewards for both pets and owners. Our Wellness programs are designed specifically for your pet and include: Comprehensive physical exam; internal parasite testing; heartworm and flea control; vaccination program; spay and neuter; and specialized blood tests for all life stages.

  • LABORATORY SERVICES

In house lab service is available using state of the art Idexx blood analyzers for those cases where CBC and blood chemisty results cannot wait until the next day.  Heartwom tests in combination with tick disease tests are run while you wait.  Fecal samples, urine tests, feline leukemia virus tests, and feline aids tests can also be performed on site. More sophisticated blood panels, allergy testing, biopsies, and titers are sent to our outside reference labs with most blood results recieved by the next day.

  • DENTAL CARE

Regular professional cleaning is important to maintaining your pet's teeth. We use modern and safe ultrasound to clean each tooth thoroughly - above and below the gum line. Dental technicians polish teeth to create a smooth, lustrous tooth surface more resistant to plaque buildup. Fluoride treatments help strengthen enamel and reduce tooth sensitivity.  If indicated, our doctors have the capability to extract damaged or diseased teeth, thereby returning the mouth to a much healthier state.

  • SURGERY

We offer the most advanced surgical techniques. All patients are carefully screened for safety and anesthetics are specifically tailored to your pet. Surgical services and facilities include: fully trained veterinary and technical staff, to ensure the safest, most efficient, state-of-the-art procedures for your pet;  ECG and oxygen saturation monitors; intensive after surgery care.

Types of surgery perfomed include spays, neuters, declaws, abdominal soft tissue surgery, anterior cruciate repair, luxating patella repair, caesarian sections, tumor removal, biopsies, eyelid mass removals, entropion correction, amputation, anal gland removal and more.

  • MICROCHIPS

Microchips can be implanted under the skin of a pet in order to help with recovery if a pet is ever lost.  These chips are indirectly connected to national data bases that contain information needed to reunite a pet with its owner.

  • NUTRITIONAL COUNSELING

Some pets require special food, and all pets benefit from a balanced diet. Our trained and certified staff is available to help you choose the right diet for your pet to keep him or her happy, healthy and active.
